Theory

OR “HOW TO BUY WAY MORE BOOKS THAN YOU SHOULD”

My thirst of knowledge has led me to keep studying while designing and coding professionally. During the last decade, I've subsequently studied computer sciences, graphic design, arts and interactivity in various schools in Canada, France and Australia.

Action

OR “HOW TO GET THINGS DONE (BEFORE YESTERDAY)”

Having worked in both small agile startups and larger corporate agencies, I know what it takes for ideas to come to life. I have a hands-on approach to projects, and favour early prototyping to over-thinking every bit. I never really stop making stuff; I split most of my spare time between a few experimental and artistic projects. Google even rewarded my work (a typing web-app I created) with a 1st prize mention during one of their workshop.

Business

OR “THE ART OF SPREADSHEETS, SLIDESHOWS, CONFERENCE CALLS”

While I prefer creation to corporation, I do speak their language fluently. That means I'm used to leading meetings, preparing presentations, and managing a team efficiently. Best of all, I don't fear explaining CEOs and investors how our work and products add value (as long as it really does).

Ge3kine5s

OR “THE OCCULT SCIENCE OF PROGRAMMERS”

I'm admittedly obsessed with technology and might have wasted more time than I should reading about x-rays, computer vision, MVC frameworks, and machine learning. On the other hand, using both sides of the brain let me understand precisely how websites and apps work under the hood. Working tightly with a dev team is not only efficient (Do you know many designers who can integrate, test, and publish their work using GIT?); it lets me better design around technical constraints, and consequently pull out smarter products.

Human

OR “WHY ROBOTS DON'T MAKE GOOD TEAMMATES ”

While understanding business goals is important, understanding people is critical in achieving good products. While I sometimes produce complete projects alone, I really find myself at home within a team of highly qualified specialists. I believe exchanges between bright minds can only yield better results.

Here are some projects I've worked on.

I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand.
